Changing your Bit Locker Encryption pin

This guide will show you how to change your default Bit locker password on your laptop.

Click on Start and goto Control Panel

Then select Bit Locker Drive Encryption option

Click on Change Pin

Type in the old pin and set your new password for bit locker at the bottom 2 fields then click on Change PIN to confirm changes.

Please note that if you have forgotten your Bit Locker pin for your laptop and you cant log in without Bit Locker pin please contact the service desk number.

To make things easier whilst on call ensure you are on Bit locker screen then press escape key to get to the recovery key screen where an available agent will provide you with a temporary recovery key to bypass Bit Locker.
