How to connect to the Teach First Wi-Fi-External Visitor
This is a step-by-step guide to connect to the Teach First Public Wi-fi network. Our workplace / Front of house team will set up your accounts in advance prior to your arrival on site.
2. Steps – Preparing to connect

Accessing Wi-Fi Settings:
- Click the Network icon located on the far right of the taskbar. If a globe icon appears, select it and choose Wi-Fi to proceed.
- If the Wi-Fi icon is missing, click the upward arrow (↑) on the taskbar to reveal hidden icons, including the Wi-Fi network list.

Identifying Network Status:
- Icons will indicate whether the Wi-Fi is active. Ensure your Wi-Fi is switched on before proceeding.
3. Steps – Connecting

Selecting the Network:
- On a Teach First-issued laptop, select the 'Teach First - Public' network from the list and click Connect. Optionally, check Connect automatically for future convenience.

Authentication:
- If prompted, log in with your credentials. If not automatically prompted, open a web browser; a login page should appear.

E-mail: Enter your email address

Password: Use the password you were provided by the Workplace team. (This should have been e-mailed to you).

Completing the Connection:
- After authentication, you'll be connected to the 'Teach First - Public' network. Note: You will need to log in again every 7 days.
Section 3: Connecting to 'Teach First - Public' (Phones/Tablets)
- For non-laptop devices and visitors, connect to the 'Teach First - Public' network. Please contact Workplace team located at reception, or the IT Service Desk for login credentials.
Troubleshooting:
- If unable to reach the login page, close all browser sessions, reopen your browser, and attempt to reconnect to the network. This process ensures your device correctly navigates to the authentication page, crucial for accessing internet, intranet, and local printing resources.
