How to unarchive a user on Steplab?

1. To unarchive a user who is a Trainee, check which school they belong to on Salesforce. This information is available on the Programme enrolment record of type ‘Training Programme’. If a School is not yet available for the Trainee, then they need to be added to TF Holding

2. To unarchive a DL or SDL, they need to be added to the Teach First DLs group
3. To unarchive a Mentor, they need to be added to the same School of the Trainee they are mapped to. Check their relationship with the Training programme trainee and see which School they belong to via the Trainee’s programme enrolment record
4. Once the School or the group is determined, follow the below steps.

Login to Steplab
Select ‘Manage’ from the menu on left-hand side
Click on ‘Teach First’ on right hand side

A pop-up window will appear, enter the name of the school or the group here

Then based on the Cohort the Trainee/Mentor belongs to select the group from the list displayed. The Cohort can be seen from the User’s Profile on Salesforce

Ensure you are in correct group before the next step

Click on ‘Add staff members’

As we are unarchiving, click on ‘Select existing’

Type the name and once the results are visible, select the user from there

Click on ‘Pick user’ and then click ‘Next’
Enter the role the user should have for e.g., Trainee or Mentor or DL and then click ‘Next’

Here you will get an option to add the user to sub-groups, based on the Cohort they belong to select the respective group and add the role(s)

Click on Next and then click on Save
