Google Chrome Bookmark backup
If you use Google chrome and have bookmarks/Favourites in Chrome web browser that would need to be backed up, please follow the steps below to create a backup file containing all your bookmarks which can then be transferred over to a replacement device.
Alternatively if you have signed into a Google account on your Chrome browser then ensure your bookmarks are synched to your Google account.
1. Open Google Chrome browser.
2. Click on the 3 dots at the top right corner of the web browser
3. Click on "Bookmarks and lists" then select “Bookmark Manager”.
4. You will see a list of all your bookmarks. Click on the 3 dots at the top right corner of the web page:
5. Select “Export Bookmarks”
6. Leave the Bookmark file name as default and save it.
7. Once saved either copy or move that file over to OneDrive and ensure OneDrive is fully synched and updated.
To Restore a bookmarks, follow same steps as 1 to 4 then select “Import Bookmarks” and locate the path to where the bookmark file was saved/exported to.
