Introduction to OneDrive
This document is meant as an accompaniment to the OneDrive video that can be found attached.
These are the key features about OneDrive
- OneDrive is a personal document library with access limited to only the owner as default
- It is built on the SharePoint platform
- It is like the W drive but has more functionality such as sharing
- In OneDrive you can keep your personal documents and you decide on the access. This includes your colleagues in Teach First but also external people too, so you can share with people working outside of Teach First
- OneDrive also has a greater storage limit than the W drive and is far more user friendly
-
You do not have to be on the Teach First network or on VPN to access OneDrive whereas you do for W drive access.
