Updating your 4G dongle Insert your dongle and wait about 30 seconds for the dongle to connect. In a web browser (Chrome or Internet Explorer) web address bar at the top type in http://192.168.3.1/ You will see a page like the one below (this page may automatically open up) If the above link does not take you anywhere then please try 192.168.8.1 instead. if the above links fail to take you anywhere then that would mean that you do not have the mobile dongle app installed for the device to be recognised. You can install the app via inserting dongle into your laptop usb port then go to This PC from File Explorer and select and go into CD Rom drive option (usually D drive) then from there run the AutoRun.exe app. If this required elevated privileges then please contact/raise ticket with IT to have this part done for you. Click on System button Profile Management New Profile Give the profile a name of plan, a username of plan, a password of plan, and an APN of data.plan.com Hit Save Your dongle should now be connected.
