How to lock and unlock your touchpad

On occasions you may wish disable/lock your touchpad on the laptop. To do this you can go to the Windows start button and search for touchpad. Within the control panel you will find the Dell Touchpad, open this. The short cut for this on most laptops will be the Function key Fn+F5.

From this image you can see that you are able to turn the touchpad on or off. You can also adjust different settings such as the speed of the pointer (this relates to how sensitive the touchpad is).

If you have made a change remember to hit Save.
