How to embed a video on the Community Site
Description: In this article we will look at embedding a video on the Community Site.
Adding a video to your post on the community website is a quick and effective way to entertain or inform viewers.
In order to add a video to the community website, it first needs to be hosted on either YouTube or Vimeo. Once you’ve added/found the video you’d like to add, complete the following steps to get it on the community website.
Embedding from YouTube
Go to www.YouTube.com and search for the video you’d like to embed. Scroll down the page and click "share".
Click "embed" and highlight and copy (Ctrl+C) the long line of text.
Login to the community website and click "create your own content". Here you’ll be asked to choose what kind
of post you’d like to create. Once you’ve chosen this, click "embed media" on the tool bar above the text box.
Copy and paste the embed code into the dialog box.
After you click OK, it will look like this on the page.
Once the post has been published it will appear in the body of the text, as seen below.
