How to listen to your voicemail away form the office

Description: This will take you through the necessary steps to listen to your voicemail outside of the office.

Our London telephone system is configured so that you can listen to your messages from outside the office. This can done via the following steps.

Dial 020-3117-2490

You will need to enter your extension number and press the # key

Then you will need to enter your passcode, this may be still set as the default, ask a Service desk member for this if it isn't known.

You are in the voicemail menu system and can now listen to Voicemails.

To listen to messages press 2

If you have a new message the phone system will playback the message header (this header refers to a message telling you where the call came from and how long the messages last for etc)

Press 0 at any point to skip the message header

The following controls are available at the end of and during message playback:

To add an additional greetings do the following.

Press 3

Press 1

You will now be asked to specify the greeting number

Once you specify a greeting number the system will inform you if there is already a greeting recorded on the record. You will be prompted the option to record over it or return to the previous menu.

Record your greeting and press # once you are done.

Press 1 if you wish to use this greeting for all calls. If not proceed to the next step

Hang up the receiver

To change which greeting is in use do the following.

Press 3

Choose the greeting number you wish to use

Press 1 to set the chosen greeting for all calls
