How to connect speakers to your laptop

Description: The following will show you how to connect speakers to your laptop.

Speakers will need to be plugged into the power socket.

The headphone jack needs to be connected to the Line-out jack/stereo audio port on the laptop.

Turn on the speakers from the circular switch (which also acts as the volumne) anticlockwise.

The following diagram shows the setup for one type of speakers but others may differ slightly.

3. Volume control with power on/off switch

4. Tone Control

5. Power supply adapter

6. To Wall outlet

7. To Analog Audio Source

You may now need to adjust your sound settings

Sound can be disabled and enabled from the systray on the bottom right corner of the screen.

If sound is not playing from the speakers and only from the laptop, then Right click the speaker icon > Select Volume control options

In the Volume Control Options dialog box, select Speakers / Headphones.
