How to share a calendar & open shared calendar in Outlook 2013
Description: We will be looking at sharing calendars and open shared calendars.
Open Outlook and go to the calendar section. From here make sure that the main calendar is checked and the rest (if any) are unchecked
Click on Share Permissions as shown below and then select the individual by clicking on Add.
After selecting the relevant people from the address list you can give them rights from the drop down menu for e.g. Editor Rights for Editing the calendar or Reviewer to just view the free /busy information and details of meeting, Click on Apply and OK
Now the recipient colleague who needs the calendar can follow the process :-
Right click on the My Calendar > Add a Calendar > Open Shared Calendar
You will now get a window to enter the name of the colleague who has shared the calendar with you, please enter their email address as shown below and click OK.
After you hit OK, the shared calendar should appear next to recipient’s calendar as per below.
